Roger is currently training in the UK under the guidance of his father Mauricio Gomes, but is flying over to Ireland over the Christmas period, for a series of very small seminars to be jointly promoted by ourselves and The Full Circle Academy. A full stats sheet will be posted up on our fighters profile page over the next day or so, and will explain in detail all of Rogers impressive achievements to date. This young man is a champion in the making for sure! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE WHITE BEAR Mauricio Motta Gomes This short interview comes from the hands of our close friend Colin Burton. Colin is now 28 years old and has trained in Thai-boxing, Sports Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He first dipped his toe into the world of fighting at the age of 16 and hasn’t looked back since. Just over a month ago, Colin heard about Mauricio setting up a dojo in London, and without hesitation he made a point of attending the first class. In that time he has only missed 2 sessions and suffered severe withdrawal symptoms because of it. Colin has trained alongside some of the highest qualified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teachers in the world (Royce Gracie among them) and in his own words, has been ‘Blown away’ by the teaching skills of Mauricao – otherwise known as ‘The White Bear’.
